Father's Day Jazz on the Terrace -- Sunday, June 21, 2009; 1-4 p.m. • Free admission• Come make a memory. Sure, take dad golfing and to brunch in the morning or serve him breakfastin bed if you like, but come spend the afternoon with us. It's a very special day. Live jazz on the terrace featuring the magical sounds of Hanson Family Jazz; 1-4 p.m. Pack a picnic then load the family in the old station wagon and take a Sunday afternoon drive in the country. Leave your cares in the city. Kick off your shoes and wiggle your toes in the cool green grass. Dance if you like. The breezes blow gently, the songbirds dive and float in a rhythmic promenade. Indeed, good wine and jazz soothe the soul. Oh, and in case of rain or other nasty weather we'll move the shindig to our new indoor space in the back part of the barn.
