April 1 brings the opening of a wonderful exhibition of student art from the bright and talented K-8 students of Eagle School of Madison (www.eagleschool.org). At Eagle, the art curriculum is intimately tied to the work students are doing in their other classes; studying ancient Egypt? Let's create Egyptian sacrophogi in art class. Understanding Aboriginal cutlures? Of course, let's make Aboriginal masks. Delving into Medival Times? Medival life depcited in fully-costumed statues brings the history and mystery of the culture to life.

Join us for a wonderful trip through history in art, as well as adventures in clay, linoleum cuts, pulled prints and the fabulous exploration that is self-portrait. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be celebrated with an opening reception on Saturday, April 2 from 1- 4 p.m. The exhibit is open daily during regular seasonal hours through the end of April.
