Long favored for our signature brand of Wisconsin hospitality and our regionally distinctive wines, Botham Vineyards is one of the oldest and most widely acclaimed Wisconsin wineries. While we plan lots of events, there is plenty to enjoy on non-event days as well.
It’s impossible not to be drawn to the peaceful serenity of the vineyard. Rolling hills, abundant wildlife and bird songs from every port of call linger here, as do thousands of visitors who pass through our doorway each season. None would say there are too many people. None would say that the people get in the way of the peace. There’s just too much room for that. Even on our business event days when thousands can visit in just one day, there is always a sense of quiet calm. That’s what drew Travel Writer Brian E. Clark and his son, Anders, to Botham Vineyards on a recent Sunday morning. They too understood the magic of this remarkable place and have shared their story here.
We hope you too will be drawn to explore this beautiful place, sample our wines and linger for an hour or an afternoon. Pack a picnic, a frisbee, a blanket and good company. We’ll supply the wine, the music (human or bird) and the oak trees under which you just might choose to take a long afternoon nap. Your only assignment is to relax and enjoy.
We look forward to welcoming you.
