Birdsongs in the Neighborhood
May 28 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Song birds are such an important part of vineyard life; they delight us with their lovely music while we tend the vines, accompany us on hikes and provide delightful company for outside dining. But they are also a threatened species. More than 40% of songbirds have died off since the 1970s. In an effort to help slow or stop that decline we’ve partnered with our friends at Vortex Optics, whose property abuts ours on the far side of the Nature Conservancy property.
We invite you to grab a pair of Vortex binoculars and an info guide and stroll the vineyard and Conservancy property to listen, watch and learn with us. Return then to enjoy live music, a picnic and a glass or bottle of wine on the terrace or in the back-barn lounge.
DONATIONS will be accepted for the Bird Protection Fund, managed ty the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin. Botham Vineyards will also contribute.
The tasting room is open 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
